Online Ad Spending for Q3 2009 Going Up

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said the Q3 2009 Internet advertising spending goes up for 2%

PwC partner David Silverman said: “While all segments of the media industry have experienced declines, online advertising remains resilient and is once again showing signs of growth.”

U.S. Department of Commerce reported that consumers spent $34 billion online during the quarter of 2009. This is an increase of 4.5 % from Q2 and a 1.8 % increase over 2008 third quarter online sales.
