8 Tips To Get FREE Traffic For New Website

In the last days I was on some forums for entrepreneurs and I discovered a repeating question: How can I drive traffic to my new business and website?

When the website link was included in the forum post I visited the said website and went through to see how it looks like, does it has a blog, Meta Tags, Keywords, etc. Some of them had no blog; some had no Meta Tags or Keywords of great advantage. Some had a hosted blog, mostly from Blogger.

What I can say is that if you like to drive traffic to you website you need to give the people a good reason to visit your website. Furthermore it can be helpful to be found where your targeted market and user base is around.

I have put together some points which you can do for free.

1. Have a self hosted blog. I recommend WordPress. It’s easy to use and free. Get yours here http://wordpress.org/
2. Pick a great WordPress theme, also for free. Here you can find thousands of themes: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
3. Install a tweet Plugin into your WordPress blog, so Twitter users can tweet your posts.
4. Connect your blog with Twitter. There for you can get various Plugin for WordPress also for free. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/
5. Choose your Keywords and Mate tags. Use Keyword phrases of three to four words, you can check popular Keyword phrases here https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Write a short and easy remind able description, include your phrases as well.
6. Connect your twitter with your facebook. The posts which you publish in your WordPress blog will be pinged to twitter and twitter pings them to facebook.
7. Build and engage your twitter followers and your facebook friends. Step into 2way communication. Don’t just broadcast!
8. Post remarkable content frequently. Start with 2-3 post per week and increase the number step by step. Write about the things which your audience is interested in.

These days thousands of discussions appear online about the use of Google Buzz for marketing purposes.

I think this is one key point which drives the future of Google Buzz and also empowers your benefit to position you self, your products and your services where our potential customers are, directly in front of them, with the help of Google, at no cost!

Under this circumstances mentioned above I think you should step into Google Buzz to claim you position.

It is simple to do this!

1. Go to your Gmail account and setup your Google Profile
2. Add your favourite sites, RSS feeds etc….
3. Install this Google Buzz Button on your WordPress blog (this one which you can see below) to get your content Buzzed.
4. Activate Google Buzz.
5. Invite your friends, step into a 2way conversation and build your follower ship.

The Importance of a Good Blogging Template

I absolutely hate it when I go to a web site or blog only to be disgusted by the design of the site. There are sooooo many sites out there that hurt my eyes to look at, and this obviously has a negative effect on the reader. I, as well as many other readers, click away from the site as soon as possible, so as not to get a headache. Which brings up the point that it is very important to have a nice looking blog.

So how do you get a nice looking blog? – Well if you want an idea of what I think is a nice template/blog, then you can look at Teen College Education.org.

This design is simple and easy to read. A very important factor is the specific colors that are used; they are gentle on the eyes. Vibrant colors are bad. Next, the layout is simple.

I have the posts right under the header with a sidebar on the left. What one puts in the sidebar is always up to the specific blogger, but I have some popular posts, categories, and advertisements.

There are a few other things, but these are the most important, because they lie above the page break. That means that the reader does not need to scroll down at all to see these boxes; they get the most views. With this knowledge it is important to put the most important elements of your blog above the page break.

Next, having a navigation bar helps a lot with aiding readers. I cannot stress how important it is to have a navigation bar! I have gone to sites that lacked this element and had to manually go through each page in order to find what I wanted. People are lazy!! The less you make them work, the better turnover you will get from them. A nav bar does not have to be anything complicated, but just make sure that it is effective and easy to use.

Most importantly, be organized. It is impossible to find anything on a blog or web site that is not organized. A good template will help organize all of the material that is on it. Blogger, WordPress, and other blogging platforms provide standard templates for bloggers which are all great.

There are other websites which also can make custom templates for a price. I found mine for Teen College Education.org on Google for free. There are a few links at the bottom of the page that go back to the original site, but it is a fair price to pay.

So if you want to attract readers, have a nice looking website/blog!

5 Reasons Why Common Speech Can Be Better To Blog In

Blog post writing is different from professional article writing. Writing articles or posts in the blog is different from corporate articles writing style.

Corporate writing style is seen in electronic media and print media as they act as mediators between the government and public. They strongly follow certain rules and regulations while publishing their articles because much of the mass media follows it and if there are any false statements, it may cause chaos among people.

Blogging is different from corporate style of writing. Here there are no rules to be followed while writing their posts. Here, Bloggers has full freedom of expressing their views, ideas, opinions, ideas and feeling regarding anything which a blogger like to have in their blogs.

Use of simple sentences makes the content clear and also construction of good sentences will make the reader more convenient in understanding.

Reader must be able to visualize the attitude of the blogger which makes the reader analyze the feelings or opinions regarding the post. This can be possible while the blogger writes in open mind and hence ultimately the blogger gets simple words to write than complicated words this is possible only through the common speech.

4. The simple the posts the more the traffic:
Because of the simple words the reader feel relaxed while reading the content and also reader should feel satisfied with the content provided by you. Hence, simple words, short paragraphs will bring more traffic to your site.

5. Enhancing communication between the reader and the blogger:
One should remember that blogging can be done by anyone. They need not be professionals and have freedom to express their views to the public. Hence by showing courtesy while writing an article, the reader will be motivated to read further and also keeps updated with the blog and also express their opinion regarding your blog.

A blogger can be successful when the reader is able to understand what he intended to show through their articles.
