This is a question which I can answer quickly and simple. I unfollow them monthly!
You know the situation, you invite a lot of people from whom you assume they are in your niche and you can get connected, share ideas, profit from each other, etc… Some follow you back and some do not for any reason.
And boom one day you achieve 2000 following profiles and Twitter tells you, that you only can accept a limited quantity per day to follow back.
You realize that many of the 2000 you are following to are not following you back! You invited them from more than a month ago and it looks like they are not interested to follow you back!
Of course you can do that, but it should take some hours until you have done your clean sweep manually!
Or let it do from somebody, or through an application. There are several apps out there which you can install on your server to get the job done for you. But who wants to have the hassle with installation of scripts etc.?
A better way can be to choose a web based service which can do this for you. And you can do it every month, and you can do it FREE. And you keep your Twitter clean!
The solution is huitter.com and here are the three easy steps how you can clean your Twitter from people which do not follow you back, all at once, like I do every month!
After a few minutes huitter has cleaned your Twitter from people who are not following you back. It gives you a link to see the list of people you have just unfollowed.
Repeat these steps after you have invited a large sum of people once per month, give them thirty days to follow you back.

Which network works best for me? Which one has the best payout? Etc.
First of all let us summarize some of the actually existing content monetizing opportunities.
Here are some:
What are the quality criteria for you to choose the right network? Is it the payout percentage, or the minimum payout, or the advertiser potential, the payment processor, etc.?
Simple answer: You need to check it out by your own!
Yes, Google is always a good bet, that’s true. But does it also work for you as well? What happen with the other networks from the list above? They have publishers and they have advertisers. So do you think that Google is the One And Only?
Do not measure minimum payout or advertiser base. These are important points to be taken into account, but are not the only things you have to take care of.
You have to take care of your niche and your subscriber base also!
The best way to find your own personal networks which suit your needs, is to test drive them.
Also we will not forget the actual existing Blog Ad Networks, which are specialized to help bloggers to monetize their content! These Blog Ad netwoks attract interested advertisers who exactly want to do adverting within a blog, for paid reviews, text links, etc.

Blog Ad Networks
You need to test drive them to learn which one is good for your blog, for your niche. Maybe you come to the conclusion to use more than one.
Good, why not!
Try and see what will happen.

Paid Posts – Do They Damage Your Credibility As A Blogger?
Just now I have read a blog post from Darren Rowse from Problogger.net. Darren Rowse is one of the most respected names out there in the blogsphere.
He had made a poll on how many of his readers have written paid posts.
The result was that 23% of ProBlogger readers have written paid posts. Which shows a massive shift from his poll in 2007?
In 2007 34% of his readers have committed to write paid posts. In this time many bloggers have experiment with paid posts as one potential income stream.
I think this also depends of the nature of the post which is required from the paying sponsor.
If you have the opportunity to test drive the product or service you have to write a paid review about it and you come to your honest opinion that this product or service can be valuable than I don’t see any issue to write a positive paid post about it.
It depends from you and your responsibility as a blogger on how you treat the ‘paid post’ income stream!
A. If you want to write your honest opinion and gain credibility or
B. If you only write what’s required and favoured by the paying sponsor.
I think with the first one (A.) you can build your credibility!
B. will damage not only the credibility of you as a blogger. More it will damage the credibility of all bloggers out there and could make blogging worthless in the long therm.
The consumer would not trust you and the blogosphere anymore!
Here is the full article of Darren Rowse in ProBlooger.net
Furthermore the FTC prepares to crack down on bloggers compensated for posts and plans to monitor blogs for claims, payments, etc. Read the full article here.
CONCLUSION: In the near future this makes specialized Blog Ad Networks more important for bloggers and advertisers where sponsored posts like videos, text ads and articles are labeled as a sponsored ads by defoult to avoid any confusion on consumers side.

First you need to know how much traffic you have, how many visitors etc. This you can track for free with Google Analytics.
With this numbers you will be able to estimate your potential ad revenue.
Adsense Ads
An average Google Adsense Ad can receive % 2- 3 CTR (click through) and they pay out when you have $100 accumulated.
For example: If you have three thousand visitors per month and have a CTR of % 2 – 3, than you have about 60 – 90 clicks on the Adsense ads included on your website. If you get $0.25 per click, than you have $15 – $22.50 for this month.
To make a serious income with Adsense Ads you will need a heavy traffic blog of about one hundred thousand visitors (100,000) per month and up.
Paid Text Link Ads on your blog
With text link ads you can set a fix price per month you like to take based on your ranking and your blog traffic. You also have the option to accept or to decline advertisers.
Text-Link-Ads.com is one service you can use.
This has the advantage that you do not depend on if anybody click the ads or not. You have got your fee for the text link ad and that’s it. This makes your advertising revenue more calculable and can lead into more revenue than Adsense.
Paid Sponsorship
With paid sponsorship you write a blog post in your chosen topic which expresses your true opinion about the product or service in this niche. You negotiate the price with the sponsor.
There are several services out there you can choose from, who connect sponsors and bloggers.

Today I have found out that you only can redeem a Google AdWords Promotional Code when you register a new AdWords account.
This is more mysterious because Google sent me a $50 coupon last week. And I am an AdWords user for now about more than five years. I have requested an active one. Let’s see what’s happen.
I know what you think, why should not register a new account. But this is not the question.
I ask myself what kind of motivation has Google to send a coupon which you can not redeem, because your account is ‘too old’, this is the message I get when I try it.
I also try to redeem a GoDaddy AdWords Promotional Code of about $25 the same result.
While GoDaddy use this additional bonus in their sales pitches I feel a little bit fooled from GoDaddy and Google.
They pitch the customer with useless ‘bonus’ [useless when you already have an AdWords account].
I would wish that they are a little bit more correct in their pitches and behaviour.
Do you have similar experiences; let me know post your comments and opinion below.
